ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)

The ANM program is a two-year diploma course designed to train entry-level nurses who will serve as vital members of healthcare teams, particularly in maternal and child healthcare settings, with a focus on rural and community health services. This course aims to develop students’ aptitude for nursing, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive basic nursing care, support safe deliveries, and promote health education in communities.

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility Criteria:

Health Requirements: Both male and female candidates who are physically and mentally fit to undergo nursing training are eligible to apply.

Age: Candidates must be a minimum of 17 years old and a maximum of 35 years as of 31st December of the admission year.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have successfully completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination, preferably with a background in Science, with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.

Language Proficiency: Candidates should have a good command of English and Hindi, and be able to communicate fluently in English.
